Oggi's Pizza is a beloved San Diego-based restaurant chain known for its customizable pizzas, signature brews, and laid-back California energy.

As the official pizza partner of SDSU Athletics, Oggi’s wanted to create content that brought their game-day spirit to life through the voices of real student-athletes.

The Solution:
half-day production shoot and athletes created two in-feed Instagram posts each

MOGL recruited four standout SDSU student-athletes — Micaela Macario (Softball), Ross Ulugalu-Maseuli (Football), Maxwell Garrison (Football), and Abby Prohaska (Women’s Basketball) — to star in a dynamic commercial shoot at Oggi’s Santee Trolley Square location.

Athletes participated in a half-day production shoot and created two in-feed Instagram posts each, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the collaboration.

The campaign showcased the authentic connection between Oggi’s and the SDSU community — blending personality, local pride, and a serious love of pizza

.Following the success of the initial activation, Oggi’s re-engaged the same athlete roster the following year to resurface the content and further solidify their long-term partnership with the Aztecs.
